Revenge of the Oversized Stamps: Araghen

Prepare yourselves to shudder O DeviantArt - I developed the urge to create more of my Oversized Stamps of Uselessness! I've taken to calling them badges - badges with little crimpy edges. Badge stamps. They're BAMPs, ok?!?! Just leave me alone - I only have Paint.Net!

But a word of warning to my friends and extended family (actually most of my extended family has one already and they still let me come over on Christmas) on The Dev - you will get one eventually. I lurk. No birthday is safe. Holidays are darkened by the shadow of dread. You might just get one for 'just becauses'!

Be afraid - be very afraid!

Admittedly, I always get scared when I develop the urge to do these also. I feel like the Universe is telling me I'm on Borrowed Time.

'Psssst Ivy - I'm going to activate the faulty artistic center of your brain now - nothing to worry about - you just have a meeting with the Uptown Express bus in two days. Go waste time making useless stamps for your friends.

This is my stamp for

He's my boy-next-door-I-just-started-bothering in my extended family.

You know what I'm talking about. He moves in and you kind of scope him out behind a tree or bush.

He always seems to be doing something interesting. He's on the porch messing about with something you just can't tell what. He's wandering around in his backyard and doing something mysterious.

So what do you do?

You walk up and scream 'HI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' right in his face.

You do that everyday a couple of times and eventually you got a nice little one-sided friendship going on.

This is all in my class: Secrets to Friendship with Ivy-Age 8 101.

But eventually he shows you what he's messing with on the porch. And pretty soon you are hopping each other's fences to play SPY. And then you are patrolling the block scoping out things from behind trees and bushes together.

Araghen does some interesting things on his porch - so I'm glad I screamed 'HI!!!!!!!!' in his face.

He's got a head full of amazing characters in his fiction universe. He eats symbiotes for breakfast. He has an super cool pro-drawing station like a Comic King that he calls The Purple Pit. He has an amazing art style that reminds me of flattened Pixar or those old Rankin/Bass Christmas Specials (<singing> I'm Mister Cold Miser...I'm Mister Snow! Best. Song. Ever! You do not want to be around me during The Holiday when I'm decorating my Half-Jewess Christmas tree and have my 'Ivy's Ho-ho-ho-liday Mix' CD in)

But best of all he let's me run around in his imagination (grey matter = squishy) and hang posters and leave subconscious Post-Its AND hug his super villains.

That's a true friend

Just never, never, never ask him about Mountain Dew! (BLLEEEECCCHHH!)

Actually - I'm pretty happy with this BAMP. I got to work in purple!!!! Yay me!!!!
Araghen is reallllllllllyyyyyyyy into symbiotes so I tried to make the letters flow into a gooey blob. And it looks like crap but I tried to draw a Venom symbol on the exclamation point.
